1. What this notice covers
This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage (local storage) used on the Offline Protocol website at www.offlineprotocol.com, the developer portal at dev.offlineprotocol.com, and the documentation at www.offlineprotocol.com/docs. It supplements our privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or retargeting pixels on any of these sites. The Fernweh and MINE apps do not use cookies; their own policies describe how they work.
2. Website
The website asks for your choice before it uses product analytics. Until you allow it, PostHog captures nothing and stores nothing in your browser. In the preferences, product analytics starts switched on, and nothing runs until you accept or save.

The contact page links to Calendly for booking a call. Calendly sets its own cookies on calendly.com, not on our site. The network map loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address as part of the request but sets no cookies through our site.
Changing your choice
To change your analytics choice, open privacy preferences, or clear this site’s storage in your browser and choose again when the banner appears on your next visit. Turning analytics off stops collection and removes PostHog cookies and local storage from your browser, and the choice is remembered.
Our network provider, Cloudflare, also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics on this site. It counts page views and page performance without setting cookies or local storage and without a persistent identifier.
3. Developer portal
The developer portal uses only the storage it needs to sign you in and to remember your preferences. It does not load advertising scripts or product analytics. When you upgrade a plan or manage billing, the portal sends you to pages hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there, including for fraud prevention, under the Stripe privacy policy.
4. Documentation
The documentation is hosted by Mintlify. It sets no cookies. It uses local storage to run the site and to give us aggregate documentation analytics, such as page views, search terms, and page feedback.

5. Command-line and agent tools
The Offline Protocol CLI and the hosted MCP server do not use cookies. The CLI stores its sign-in details in a file on your computer, described in the privacy policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage on the portal will sign you out and stop the portal from working. Blocking it on the website only means your theme and consent choices are not remembered.
We may update this notice when the cookies we use change. We will update the date above when we do.
