Amazon Web Services

Offline Protocol and AWS power always-on, offline-first operations at global scale. Devices keep syncing, messaging, and coordinating when the network drops, and enterprises buy it through AWS Marketplace, on the AWS account and bill they already have.

Always-on operations, from the edge to the AWS cloud

Field devices, handhelds, vehicles, and sensors keep syncing, messaging, and coordinating with each other when the network drops, and reconcile with the systems you run on AWS the moment a link returns. Your operations stay up at the edge and stay connected to the cloud.

Enterprises buy Offline Protocol through AWS Marketplace, with the AWS account they already have and charges on their AWS bill. Procurement runs through a vendor your company has already approved, with no new supplier to set up and no separate invoice to route.

What you can buy

The listing carries the plans we sell directly, on annual contracts of 12, 24, or 36 months, with a lower rate on the longer terms. Plans and SDK licenses combine in one contract, and what each plan includes is on the pricing page.

  • Pro and Scale plans, with monthly quotas for OfflineID users, hosted relay deliveries, telemetry events, and Proof of Location checks. Traffic that stays between nearby devices never counts against a quota.
  • The SDK commercial license, per app, for proprietary apps, App Store apps, and closed firmware. The mesh SDK itself stays free under AGPL-3.0.
  • Enterprise, quoted to your deployment and sold by private offer, with production support under an SLA, SCIM, audit logs, and forward-deployed engineers.

How to get started

  1. Open the listing and choose a plan, the SDK license, or both, on a 12, 24, or 36 month term.
  2. Subscribe with your AWS account. AWS bills the contract.
  3. Continue to the Offline Protocol developer portal to create or link your organization, take an API key, and see your plan and usage.

For Enterprise, or terms the listing does not show, request a private offer on the listing page or contact us, and we send it to your AWS account.

AWS Marketplace FAQ

Do I need to run Offline Protocol on AWS?

No. Devices sync and message directly with each other over Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, and the mesh, with no cloud in between. AWS Marketplace is how you buy it; hosted services such as the relay add reach when a device is online.

How does data from offline devices get back to my systems on AWS?

Devices keep their records, scans, and telemetry while offline and keep editing shared documents together. The moment any device in the mesh regains a link, changes sync in order and your app reconciles them with the database and services you already run on AWS. Nothing in between needs a server of ours. How edge sync works.

What do the plans meter?

OfflineID monthly active users, hosted relay deliveries, telemetry events, and Proof of Location verifications. Traffic that stays between nearby devices is never metered.

Can I evaluate Offline Protocol before I buy?

Yes. Start on the Free plan with the quickstart, or scope an evaluation with our team: one workflow, agreed criteria, 4 to 16 weeks. Scope an evaluation.

Do I need gateways or edge servers on site?

No. Phones, handhelds, vehicles, and sensors relay for each other across a site, up to 8 hops, over Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi. A gateway or an internet link extends reach when one is there, and the SDK picks the path on its own. How the mesh works.

Which operations run on Offline Protocol?

Logistics yards and corridors, farms beyond rural coverage, energy and utility crews off-grid, public-sector teams through outages, events at crowd scale, and robot and drone fleets past lost links. See solutions.
