Offline Protocol is a software coordination layer running inside participating applications and devices. It works over the links the platform supplies.
  • Connect: discover peers, establish identity and sessions, route messages and track delivery.
  • Sync: persist and replicate selected documents across authorized sessions or groups.
  • Invoke: advertise capabilities, discover providers and exchange service requests and responses.
Your application owns enrollment, permissions, workflow acceptance and backend integration. The protocol does not replace the authority of your system of record. Read Architecture, Transport behaviour and Security, or start with the quickstart.
